I Hope Readers Will Give Me Their Thoughts

Thanksgiving is just days away and Christmas is just around the corner! I hope readers will have a little time to check out my first book, "IMMORTAL RELATIONS" and the second book in the series, "IMMORTAL RELATIONS, LOVE AND WAR." The first is a unique perspective in the vampire genre and is an adult book with lots of action in and out of the bedroom. The second in the series became available on AMAZON and KINDLE in early NOVEMBER 2012 and takes the action of the first book, puts it on steroids, turbocharges it, then gives it a shot of NOS (in other words it is PURE ACTION)!

 

 I really do hope readers will respond to my request that they tell me what they think would happen if the fact that vampires REALLY DO EXIST became common knowledge to the human world. There MIGHT be a different response, if all humans knew what readers will know of the "good works" done by our story's guardian vampires (the operative word here is "MIGHT")! We all know how dangerous humans can be when they feel threatened. Mob violence could be the result unless cooler heads prevail. The third book in the series will explore vampires "coming out" to the human world and I'll try to include reader's thoughts about the reactions humans might have in the third book. Regardless of how fearful or sanguine the human population is with this revelation, there will be a potential extinction level event, the threat of which can only be responded to, in time, by our guardian vampires...this may change the minds of some who might otherwise act against our vampire friends.

I'm supposed to be on a RomConInc Blog on July the 10th dealing with "Immortal Relations," but may be able to discuss the new, "Immortal Relations, Love & War" as well. They've asked me to put this information up...I'm not too computer savy, but here is what there is: It will be interesting to see what all the above produces (if anything)!

"IMMORTAL RELATIONS - LOVE & WAR" is almost finished.

Just a teaser about the second in the series, "IMMORTAL RELATIONS - LOVE & WAR." It is announced that our old friend, Field Marshal Kolukov is "retiring." Everyone knows that Russian Generals, let alone Field Marshals don't retire (unless they have some terminal illness). What will the guardian vampires do, will they try to talk him into "being changed?" Communist China has too many people and not enough room or resources, while just to the North sits millions of sqare miles of lightly inhabited wilderness in Siberia, which also has the largest known petroleum reserves in the world, as well as large amounts of untapped gold and other rich mineral deposits. Will the greed of China's Communist Dictators drive them to invade Russia?! It is common knowledge that the cap over the reactor that had the melt down at Chernoybl has deteriorated to the point of collapse. If it does, it will release large clouds of deadly radiation that could well travel around the world, releasing it's poison into the earth and seas, what can be done? If that weren't danger enough, what about the even more deadly situation in Fukushima, Japan. There, the reactor building that was all but destroyed by the Tsunami, is leaning over and it is said there are many thousands of highly radioactive fuel rods on the third floor, when the building goes, it has been predicted that this possibly could result in an "Extenction Level Event", what can be done to avert this catastrophy? The amazing man Adam has become, through the union of Gary and Eviana, may have siblings on the way. Will this have any effect on the love Magdalena has for Gary or is there going to be some reproductive "magic" available so Maggie can have a child as well? For those who like Vampire Adventure & Romance, please check out my first book in the series. One of those who purchased the book (not a friend or relative) said it was "his holy grail of vampire stories." I'd love to be able to thank him if I knew how! Anyway, this blog will be about the series, starting with the first book of course. I must warn those who have children and teens, mine are not the sparkly type vampires, but are guardians, doing their best to defeat "evil" vampires trying to feed on humans as well as keeping the weak and innocent from harmful criminal acts, even defending small animals. Now you may well ask, how do my guardian vampires get the blood they need...I've had people say, "Why hasn't anyone else thought of that?" refering to the way they do get what blood they do require; if you read page 14 of the book, you'll find out, and I think you'll agree that it makes perfect sense.

As for how the book came to be, the first part of the book is not fiction, but fact; my father had been stationed in Europe immediately after WW-II, by his U.S. agency to try and help the new Czech Government toward democracy; however, as you probably know, the Soviets had ousted the Nazis from Czechoslovakia and wanted a puppet government installed. Since Soviet troops were in the country, you know what happened; the American Mission was expelled and a Communist Puppet Government was set up.

While in the country, my father had met and developed a close working relationship with a beautiful, young Czech interpreter. The working relationship turned into something more, much more; however, when the Americans were expelled, my father returned to my mother and I (I was just a child at the time). The lovely interpreter promised to always be waiting for him, should he decide to return and wrote that on the back of a picture she took of him standing in front of a the old clock of Prague's Old Town Hall. Finding the picture with the lovely female handwriting on the back is what started me writing the fictional part of the story. My character, Gary Logan (not a very big switch from Guy Ogan, I know) travels to Prague and things start to get "interesting" when he meets a lovely lady and her daughter. If you read the book, I don't think you will enjoy it and then I suggest you give it to any adult male who thinks "vampire stories are just for women." There are enough exotic supercars, weapons, and warfare, not to mention "explicit togetherness," that they will be hooked!

A collegue is going to help me develop this Blog further, but it may take awhile for pictures, etc. to become part of the blog. I'd love to hear what anyone thinks of the book (or the blog) and will try to answer your questions if you will post them here. I'm in the middle of writing the second book of the series. It will have the same title, but will a sub-title, perhaps, "Love & War" of which there are plenty, just in the first half of the second book that I've drafted so far. BEST WISHES AND HAPPY READING!
