SPECIAL $.99 SALE ON EACH BOOK IN MY UNIQUE PARANORMAL SERIES 7-14 DECEMBER, 2014

From December 7 (8 AM PST) until December 14 (Noon PST) Each of the three digital novels in my "Immortal Relations" series will be on sale for $.99 (a savings of over $2.00 for each book). Read what readers have said about the first and second books (I still want someone to comment on #3):

Read Richard Rasmussen's comment about the first book, http://amzn.com/B006ZCBT6G :

"Being a bit of a vampire-phile, I find myself constantly searching for the next vampire series to reach out and grab, or, more appropriately, bite me. I believe I have found my holy grail of vampire novels. You see, the Vlad books are typically a bit gory for my tastes, while the Twilight series is campy, sophomoric, and I feel, is most appealing to teenage girls. Mr. Ogan has delivered a tale at breakneck speed, one that jumps out of the starting gate and never loses steam. A tale filled with life lessons, love, sex, action and adventure. Complete with new insights into the powers of the immortal vamps, and fresh takes on the complex inner workings of their existence. From page 1 until the very end, Immortal Relations promises to have you on the edge of your seat and begging for more..."

This comment is about my second book in the series, “Immortal Relations, Love and War” and was left on my BlogSpot http://immortalrelations.blogspot.com/ by Nancy Bell:

"Immortal Relations is NOT just another vampire story! An unusual blend of vampire fantasy, world politics, and political statement in defense of human civil freedoms, this book is a quick read that takes you through the story as a voyeur of one man's extraordinary imagination. You will not predict the outcome of this story, nor do you want to, as you sit back and let the story unfold insights into human nature, vampire nature, and the unusual relationship between the two. Looking forward to reading book three as the crescendo of poetic license plays itself out on a global scale. Thanks to Guy Ogan for an enjoyable read!"

I still need a comment left for the third book, "Immortal Relations Coming Out" I hope you will be the one to provide it!

Expanded Version of What the "Immortal Relations" Series is About

What My “Immortal Relations” Novels Are About
Are all those who are “different” than you automatically bad? Certainly the vast majority of books published about vampires paint them as “in league with the Devil” and “evil personified.” Often they are shown almost like “shape-shifters,” able to take on the appearance of beauty, while underneath lurks a hideous killer of unspeakable ugliness. “Immortal Relations” starts with a true-life event that occurred to the author’s parents. It was finding out about this situation that spurred the author to write the series. The first book explores love and aspects of it’s physical expression (sex) so it’s appropriate for open-minded adults. Read Richard Rasmussen’s comment for http://amzn.com/B006ZCBT6G on the first book. “Being a bit of a vampire-phile, I find myself constantly searching for the next vampire series to reach out and grab, or, more appropriately, bite me. I believe I have found my holy grail of vampire novels. Complete with new insights into the powers of the immortal vamps, and fresh takes on the complex inner workings of their existence. From page 1 until the very end, Immortal Relations promises to have you on the edge of your seat and begging for more…”
The second book “Immortal Relations, Love and War” http://amzn.com/B00A4IEHL6 carries the story forward and has a summary of important parts of the first book in the form of a conversation between two of the main characters (this makes it a good starting point for those for whom stories with sex is an issue). While I still consider this novel “adult fare” I found a way to lessen the “explicitness” of the togetherness…I think you may laugh at the way it’s done. The second in the series has a lot about how power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Watch the Chinese Communists try to capture the riches in Siberia and run up against not only our guardian vampires but the love of the Russian people for their homeland. Greedy OPEC Ministers try to destroy Russian oil production in order to destroy the economy of Russia and The West – actions that could become more than just ideas in a novel.
“Immortal Relations Coming Out” http://amzn.com/B00G5BQS18 explores the destructiveness of the new Soviet style of Socialism taking over America and how the country is heading down the path to the loss of its Constitution and personal freedoms guaranteed in the Bill of Rights. In this story, our guardian vampires set up a coven in Southern Canada from which they plan to monitor the Marxist regime in the U.S. and do what they can to support those who still believe in freedom and liberty when the SHTF. Victor, the Canadian Police Officer falls in love with one of Gary’s full vampire children and soon sees the proof of the enmity of Washington’s regime toward those who would dare resist their power-mad take over. While these stories are all strong stories not for the faint of heart, there is a very revealing segment where Vlad Dracula discusses his personal history and why so many vampire novels paint him as evil!
The action of the first novel is placed only briefly in the U.S. with the majority of the action being in various countries in Europe, with The Czech Republic, England and Russia as the major venues. There are medically related discussions of interest throughout the story as well as a good (or bad, depending upon your view) amount of “explicit togetherness” (sex) – for that reason I suggest readers with an aversion to explicit sex start with the second novel in the series. There, explicitness is reduced by memory problems Gary experiences during lovemaking. In the second book a conversation between Gary and Magdalena brings the new reader up-to-speed on the major points of the first book. The fast action in the second book broadens the venues to include Russia’s treasure trove (Siberia), Communist China and Japan. “Immortal Relations, Love and War” does have some serious issues about greed and it possibly leading to a nuclear exchange during war. But there is also a lot of international cooperation that shows what nations can do to blunt evil nation states, as well as terrorists, when they face those threats together. While the Washington regime  is duplicitous in its actions, the U.S. military retains its honor in international dealings.
Book three, “Immortal Relations Coming Out” has our guardian vampires realizing they may need to be “closer to the problems” the Marxist regime in Washington seem bent on causing. A coven in lower Canada is established and while Washington doesn’t know exactly what they are dealing with they realize a U.S. citizen who interfered with one of their schemes is nearby. As is common with bullies, they take ill advised actions. These efforts place the Washington regime in clear violation of international law, something that bothers them not one whit! Caught red-handed, they pull back to figure how to “spin” it and “refuse-to-come-out-and-play” when mankind faces extinction level events.

Six Paragraphs From "Immortal Relations Coming Out" (Third in the Immortal Relations Series)

This snippet is from page 69 of my third in the series, “Immortal Relations Coming Out.” The scene is the wedding of the vampire daughter of Magdalena and Gary whose name is Eviana to the human, Victor (soon to be her husband):
We boarded several limousines which whisked us over to where the marriage ceremony would be held and there we saw many of our old friends who had been there the day Magdalena and I had wed at the same location. Eviana had on the same dress Magdalena had worn the day she and I were married. It had a few minor alterations since Eviana was not quite as tall but had an ample bust and wanted the neckline plunging to show off one of her best features. Aside from these modifications, and the dazzling white color, it had the same haut-couture cut as the light blue, lacy, scalloped, and layered, shape-hugging dress I’d seen Magdalena in the first time I’d met her.

I guess I’d been so overwhelmed by the surprise my friends had prepared in my own wedding to Magdalena that I hadn’t really noticed all the white flowers that I now saw and which smelled so very sweet… I think they were Gardenia’s arranged hanging in twists around and down polls placed alongside as well as in the back and in front of the wedding venue. As I walked Eviana down the aisle, I could hear her thoughts of overwhelming love for Victor and the beauty of it was so intense that it was all I could do to keep from crying. I also could hear Victor’s concern that he might faint due to the picture of loveliness walking toward him and prepared to be his bride. I sent him my thoughts; Steady on young man, the ceremony will be over before you know it and you’ll have a long time to enjoy your life with this wonderful lady. If you can’t read her thoughts right now, I can and I can confirm her deep love for you. I am so very proud to welcome you into the family as my son-in-law! What is it the Brits say, something about keeping a stiff upper-lip? Well, just keep SOMETHING stiff for a little bit longer. Then I smiled at him and he smiled back, or maybe he was smiling as his future bride drew nigh. Whatever it was, he seemed to take courage in the stars he saw in her eyes. At this realization I could feel tears on my own cheeks.
Once again, Vladimir had a gift of a dazzling five carat Red Ruby mounted in a Gold ring. This looked to be a twin to the one he had provided when I wed Magdalena. I was sure this was also one from the Hermitage collection for Victor, the groom, to place on the finger of Eviana, his bride.

There was a reception held afterwards; however I only got a parting glance of Victor and Eviana as food evidently wasn’t on their minds. Vladimir had arranged for them to stay in the bedroom at the Menshikov Palace which was completed in 1721 and was the most luxurious building during the time of Peter the Great.
Soon, Vladimir had corralled us and we were transported to the same palace where we entered a private suite of rooms that had been prepared for us. There we found Vlad, Grandmother and Roger and after hugs and kisses we sat down to discuss the wedding and what we had accomplished at the Canadian Coven.

Much has been written about Vlad Dracula, everything from Bram Stoker's bloodsucking monster to slightly less devil-like fiends. My novels' Vlad is "reformed" (by love of course) and my stories deal with covens of guardian vampires that try to protect humans from the traditional type of vampires, human criminals and evil politicians seeking to enslave people.

The following is from pages 147-149 of my third novel in the “Immortal Relations” Series, “Immortal Relations Coming Out” http://amzn.com/B00G5BQS18 best read after reading the second, “Immortal Relations, Love and War” http://amzn.com/B00A4IEHL6 which is a stand-alone novel as it reviews the major parts of the first novel without its explicit togetherness.

In this excerpt Vlad, now patriarch of the Guardian Vampires is talking with Gary Logan a vampire of only a few years but now a trusted friend. Vlad has explained how he and other older vampires need little if any blood and Gary asks why out of control vampires continue attacking humans:

Vlad replied (through thought transference) They get a thrill from the hunt and then, as the life drains from their victims, it provides a rush from the feeling of power over the living.

I thought, If I may be so bold, have you had such feelings in the past?

Vlad smiled and nodded slowly, It was a very, very long time ago Gary. We were fighting what you would call “an asymmetrical war” against Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror and his Muslim invaders who outnumbered us at least three to one. I was looking for anything to slow them down. I guess you would say I used psychological warfare by building the “forest” of impaled enemy soldiers we had defeated in previous battles. While we had numerous successes against units of the invaders we unfortunately were unable to hold off so large an invading army. It was about this time I was changed into what I am today. I was always in the front lines of battle and routinely soaked in blood. Perhaps that is what changed me into a vampire. One of my own Generals saw me surrounded by enemies and saw blood spurting up in the air. Thinking it was my blood he sent word that I’d been killed. My dear wife was distraught and threw herself from the heights of my Poenari Castle into the Arges River below.

Then my second cousin, Matthias Corvinus, King of Hungary, from whom I had sought help in prosecuting the war, imprisoned me. Locked away, I soon became crazed with the desire for blood I would have otherwise found on the battlefield. Many fellow prisoners died because of it and after my escape I was a plague on the land. It took all too long before I regained some sense of my lost humanity.

With downcast eyes Vlad thought, That is where the myths, legends and stories about me started – I’m afraid I earned them all.

I reached over and patted him on the arm, “I’m sorry I brought up a topic that has induced clearly painful memories for you.”

Vlad smiled at me, “No, it is alright. If you haven’t heard the story before I think you need to know the type of vampire you follow. I hope it won’t detract from our relationship.”

“Never fear of my continued admiration and respect for you. You were a great leader fighting to free your people from an oppressive invader. Since you had no one to guide you after you were changed, as a ‘newborn’ vampire you did what came naturally. However, it begs the question, how did you stop?”

“I married again and she helped me overcome the constant thirst, giving me some of her own blood, and lead me back to God.”

With tears in my eyes I thought, in reply to Vlad, Women are clearly the superior gender, without them we men would be little better than wild beasts.

My Series of Novels On Sale (99 Cents) or FREE - See Schedule Below

My 3rd book in the series: "Immortal Relations Coming Out" http://amzn.com/B00G5BQS18 is on sale for 99 cents 15-21 April (click on http:// link to read a few pages for free). Political thriller - not for those who love the current Marxist Administration in Washington D.C.

My 2nd book: "Immortal Relations, Love and War" http://amzn.com/B00A4IEHL6 will be on sale for 99 cents 28 April - 4 May (click on http:// link above to read a few pages for free). I call this book, "Action on Steroids," terrorist acts, invasion by Red China of Russia, etc.

My 1st book: "Immortal Realations" http://amzn.com/B006ZCBT6G will be FREE 1-5 May, but this is for ADULTS as it has what I call "explicit togetherness" (sex). Not to be salacious but to show that the guardian vampires while protecting humans don't have their hang-ups. If you are an open-minded, mature adult you can read some of it and decide if you want it. If you prefer NOT to have explicit material in your reading, start with the second book in the series as it has a conversation that reviews high-points of book one w/o the explicit stuff..

THIS IS FROM A RECENT BLOG I WAS A GUEST ON...I THINK IT GIVES SOME GOOD INSIGHT

 Welcome guest blogger Guy Ogan

Please welcome the author of “Immortal Relations Coming Out” G. D. Ogan to the blog:

Q:  Can you give the readers a summary of your third novel?

A:  “Immortal Relations Coming Out” continues my Adult Paranormal-Romance novels where vampires who had been victims of evil vampires in becoming changed, swore to fight against evil and to protect those still human from this evil as well as from human criminals and dictatorial politicians. In the third book our vampires discuss the possible gains vs. the risks of coming out to the human race. Have saved mankind from war before it became nuclear, repairing damages from a ruinous terrorist attack and reversed potential Extinction Level Events from two ecological disasters, our recently converted vampire suggests forming a symbiotic relationship with humans to fight all evil, vampires/human criminals/or dictatorial politicians by letting the humans know vampires are not just myths, fables or scary stories, but do exist and that not all are evil. Well meaning ideas sometimes have unexpected consequences and this plan is no exception.  While it was decided not to fully open themselves up to the world’s human population, a decision to allow the release of “fictional novels” was made in hopes the stories could plant the seed that not all vampires are evil, that there are some who wish to safeguard humans. In order to monitor the evil regime’s efforts to enslave its population, a new coven is set up in Southern Canada and it isn’t long before some knowledge of the true nature of the new visitors to Canada starts to come out. When our guardian vampires role in foiling greedy plans of the powerful Marxists becomes known it bodes ill for our heroes – attempts at retribution are swift in coming. Fortunately, the evil regime has a history not only for their corruption but for its bungling nature and acts before all the facts are known. Love is more powerful than hate and the people from the surrounding area of Canada see through the lies and come to the defense of their new neighbors!

Q:  Where are you from?

A: West Texas is where I currently reside, but I’ve lived all around the world.

Q:  Tell us your latest news?

A:  My third novel in my “Immortal Relations” series became available in print in October, 2013 and on Kindle a month later. Making a BIG JUMP in genres I’ve been working on a book for children about time-travel back to the age of dinosaurs! My six year old Granddaughter Lily is a BIG FAN of dinosaurs so I’m doing a book for her titled, “Lily and the Time Buggy.” But I’ve already got a cover picked out for “Immortal Relations – REVENGE” my forth in the Immortal Relations series!

Q:  Do you have a specific writing style?

A:  I’m not sure what to call it because I sometimes “dream” as if I’m in the action of the novels (or perhaps it might be called “channeling”). Then I’ll get up and type what I’ve “seen.”

Q:  What books have most influenced your writing most?

A:  I read the trilogy “Lord of the Rings” a hundred times, all of Tom Clancy’s works several times, Ann Rice’s “Servant of the Bones” and I enjoyed Twilight (but I think the one Stephenie Meyer didn’t release, “Midnight Sun” was her best by far, you can “Google” to read some of it).

Q:  Do you recall how your interest in writing originated?

A:  I don’t seem like it but I’m a bit shy and prefer to write my thoughts and ideas rather than saying them aloud. I wasn’t a writer in public school, but when I started running long distances in track and cross-country I wanted to express the joys of running so I started submitting my writing to “The Long Distance Log” and other running magazines (long before Runner’s World was even thought of). While I’m sure they weren’t the best writing, they were always published. When I became interested in cars I submitted photos and descriptions of events I attended to magazines like “Cruising Style.” I often had three or more articles in every issue. Of course in my jobs in the Air Force and later, working for the Texas Prison System as a Specialist and Psychologist I did a lot of technical writing and even wrote a book on assessment and treatment for Attention Deficit Disorder. I guess you could say writing has always been a part of my life – just not writing novels. Had it not been for finding the photograph that is on page two of my first novel, I probably wouldn’t have written my first novel, let alone all three in the series (so far).

Q:  What was the hardest part of writing your book?

A:  I think all authors; especially Indie Authors (those who have their books published by what used to be called “vanity press”) will say the hardest part is getting the word out about our works. Without blogs such as this one few readers would ever hear of our books.

Q:  Do you have any advice for other writers?

A:  Yes, while I’ve happily received great reviews, a constructive review of any writer’s work can be helpful. However, there are some very terribly injured people out there who believe they will build themselves up by tearing others down. Don’t let such negative types get you down, just write what you believe and pay no attention to them, if they were so creative they’d be writing rather than trying to build themselves up by tearing others down.

Q:  Where can readers find you on the Web?

A:   Below are the buy links; however, I love to write back and forth with readers and you can do that on my http://immortalrelations.blogspot.com and I’m writervampire on Facebook or E-Mail me at gog6692@msn.com (the fastest way as I’m not on “social media” all that often).

Q:  Can you share a little of your current work with us?

A:  This snippet is from page 69 of my third in the series, “Immortal Relations Coming Out.” It is the scene from the wedding of the vampire daughter of Magdalena and Gary whose name is Eviana (named for her aunt Eviana, who is called Evy in the book). Young Eviana is marrying Victor, a human (he knows she and the rest of her family are vampires – but GOOD VAMPIRES). This is from Gary’s point of view of the events of the wedding:

We boarded several limousines which whisked us over to where the marriage ceremony would be held and there we saw many of our old friends who had been there the day Magdalena and I had wed at the same location. My daughter Eviana had on the same dress Magdalena had worn the day she and I were married. Aside from these modifications, and the dazzling white color, it had the same haut-couture cut as the light blue, lacy, scalloped, and layered, shape-hugging dress I’d seen Magdalena in the first time I’d met her.

When my friends threw us our surprise wedding I’d been so overwhelmed I hadn’t really noticed all the white flowers that I now saw and which smelled so very sweet…I think they were Gardenias arranged hanging in twists around and down the polls placed alongside as well as in the back and in front of the wedding venue. As I walked Eviana down the aisle, I could hear her thoughts of overwhelming love for Victor and the beauty of it was so intense that it was all I could do to keep from crying. I could also hear Victor’s concern that he might faint due to the picture of loveliness walking toward him and prepared to be his bride. I sent him my thoughts; Steady on young man, the ceremony will be over before you know it and you’ll have a long time to enjoy your life with this wonderful lady. If you can’t read her thoughts right now, I can and I’ll confirm her deep love for you.

I was sure this was also from the Hermitage collection for Victor, the groom, to place on the finger of Eviana, his bride.

There was a reception held afterwards; however I only got a parting glance of Victor and Eviana as food evidently wasn’t on their minds. There we found Vlad, Grandmother and Roger and after hugs and kisses we sat down to discuss the wedding and what we had accomplished at the new coven we’d set up in Canadian.

I’m sure the readers have surmised the wedding of Victor, a (human) Police Inspector in Canada’s Ontario Provence to my (full vampire) daughter Eviana (named for my second mate, her Aunt Evy) took place at the world famous Hermitage Museum at the behest of Vladimir Kolukov, President of the Russian Federation and close personal friend to Gary and other good vampires. There’s a lot of information about the development of the various human-vampire relationships throughout all three novels.

I love to talk with readers so PLEASE leave a comment and I’ll try to reply to you.

There we found Vlad, Grandmother and Roger and after hugs and kisses we sat down to discuss the wedding and what we had accomplished at the new coven we’d set up in Canada.

I’m sure the readers have surmised the wedding of Victor, a (human) Police Inspector in Canada’s Ontario Provence to Gary's (full vampire) daughter Eviana (named for her Aunt Evy) took place at the world famous Hermitage Museum at the behest of Vladimir Kolukov, President of the Russian Federation and close personal friend to Gary and other good vampires. There’s a lot of information on the development of the various human-vampire relationships throughout all three novels. Update on Accessing the Three Novels in the "Immortal Relations" Series.

"Immortal Relations" http://amzn.com/B006ZCBT6G is the first book in my Adult Paranormal Romance Series. I felt compelled to write it upon finding that what my mother had said those many, many years before about my late father having had a "Tryst" while he was overseas was true. Unable to sleep that evening I went to my computer and typed out what entered my consciousness, or was I channeling from another source as it seemed since I've never typed at that speed before. Without sleep, 18 hours later I had a rather rough draft. When I went through and picked out typos (at the speed I was going there were bound to be some) I could change those, but when I tried to down-play some of the "explicit togetherness" (sex) it didn't seem right to do so. It felt as if a force was telling me that vampires (if real) would not subscribe to the sexual hang-ups of humans so I should refrain from showing them as being tied to human mores. If you will go to the above Amazon & Kindle site you can read  the first pages FREE to see for yourself, as what happened to me is incorporated into the start of the story. My vampires in the large Residency Coven are guardians of their human neighbors against evil vampires, human criminals and politicians who would subjugate the public they should be serving. There are many life lessons and other positive actions, such as being kind to animals in the story. Okay, so now that begs the question, how do they get the blood they require (those who do require it)? They have a number of corporations, one of which owns multiple funeral homes and by funerary laws, blood from deceased humans must be mechanically removed and replaced with a liquid preservative. While other authors have had their "good" vampires using blood bags or willing human donors, or in the case of the "Twilight Series" by attacking animals, I have been told I am the first to have vampires using processed blood from deceased humans. The story is mainly about combat between the good vampires and an evil band of vampires seeking vengeance against the Residency Coven. Action starts in the United States but quickly moves to the Czech Republic, England and the Russian Federation. I know there are some men who feel "Romance" novels are not for them; however, if they read this first book I know it will change their minds!

The second book, "Immortal Relations, Love and War" http://amzn.com/BOOA4IEHL6 has as much action in it as any Tom Clancy novel, while the level of explicitness is much less. As there is a conversation early in the book which goes over the most important action in the first book, this would be a good entry into the series for those who aren't interested in reading novels with much "heat" level. I still consider this an Adult book as there is warfare and political assassination that takes place. The action involves stopping a war between China and the Russian Federation before it turns into a nuclear exchange threatening the whole world as well as resolving two "REAL WORLD" ecological threats: the failure of the cap over the Chernobyl reactor that melted down 25 years ago and the unstable reactor building at Fukushima, Japan which some scientists warn my be an Extinction Level Event should it be allowed to collapse (to date nothing has been done to solve either crisis). This book has action involving various European countries, with heavy action in Russian Siberia, China and Japan.

The third book, "Immortal Relations Coming Out" http://amzn.com/B00G5BQS18 continues the actions of the second novel. Had the current regime in Washington been aware of the planned Chinese invasion of Siberia and if so, were they knowing accomplices in that act? If so, how would they respond if they could identify the person or persons who helped defeat their Marxist allies? Would they be willing to attack those who kept the Chinese Communists from winning, even at the possible expense of the destruction of the entire planet? Find out in this story of conspiracy and intrigue! Action takes place in the Czech Republic, Canada, the United States and in outer-space.

For those who have read and enjoyed reading any of the series, if they will leave a comment on Amazon or Kindle about the book I will gladly send them the next in the series via Kindle if they will contact me with the Subject Heading: I Enjoyed Reading "Immortal Relation" and have left a comment on Amazon/Kindle." Happy Reading!

COMMENT ON "IMMORTAL RELATIONS" BY NANCY BELL 6 NOVEMBER 2013

Immortal Relations is NOT just another vampire story! An unusual blend of vampire fantasy, world politics, and a political statement in defense of human civil freedoms, this book is a quick read that takes you through the story as a voyeur of one man's extraordinary imagination. You will not predict the outcome of this story, nor do you want to, as you sit back and let the story unfold insights into human nature, vampire nature, and the unusual relationship between the two. Looking forward to reading book three as the crescendo of poetic license plays itself out on a global scale. Thanks to Guy Ogdan for an enjoyable read!
